Accommodations: In and About Rising Sun and Your Room

Virtually every room looks out on Frenchman's Bay and/or the Gulf of Maine. Ocean breezes waft through the high-ceilinged rooms. And I based each room's colors on my palette of flower garden colors. The air in the house is continually refreshened and filtered. If it's really hot outside, we do have air-conditioning!

We gather for meals in our spacious living room, enjoying each other, the delectable food and the gorgeous ocean views. Or meeting room is equally spacious and overlooks my main wildflower garden and the ocean beyond.

Every chair, every couch, and every bed is most comfortable. I selected each, (from the many I tried!) based first and foremost on their comfort.

Our well water tastes as clean and pure as any you'll ever enjoy... and as such, it makes excellent coffee and tea!

The entrance hall has an eight 18 foot ceiling, semi-circular staircase, balcony overlooking it, views of magnificent rock outcroppings through the windows, and concert-like sound system. This is a wonderful space for meditation.

Bedrooms Are Private or Double

Ground floor has two singles, which share a bathroom. Each looks out on the ocean. Each has a most comfortable queen bed. Each has its private entrance onto its own patio.

First floor has the kitchen, the living room, entrance hall, powder room and my bedroom.

Second floor: Master Bedroom Suite, with ocean views, private bathroom (with whirlpool tub, bidet, two sinks, toilet, and large shower room with panoramic ocean views.) The king bed provides a view of the Maine star-filled heaven through the skylight.

Second floor Blue Room: the bedroom itself, as well as the tub and shower in the adjoining shared bathroom, provide magnificent ocean views. The Blue room also shares a sun porch overlooking the ocean with the Master Bedroom. Second Floor Lavender Room: Twin beds, and views of Frenchman's Bay, the Gulf of Maine, Zen garden, and gorgeous rock outcroppings and trees. Shares the bathroom with the Blue Room guests.

We meet in the spacious family room, with its 240 degrees of water views.
