• She is instinctual by nature, trusts her intuition and her deep well of knowledge that transcends the mind’s awareness. 

 

• ​She is rooted both in outer reality and the unseen realms; she sees with both her inner and outer eyes.​

 

• Among her names are Mother Night, She Who Sees In the Dark, She Who Walks Between Two Worlds and She Whose Knowledge is Beyond Knowing.​ 

Working With the Medial Woman on the Retreat: Her Role Is Two-Fold:

As she guides much of the creativity and ritual aspects of the retreat, Medial Woman tells us to trust our instinctual knowing. ​She offers us her unwavering belief that imagination and intuition will not fail us even when the voices of family, friends and society buzz in our head and insist otherwise. “I have always been with you," she says. "Walk with me. Let my knowing, which is the knowing of your deepest self, be the light that guides your writing and your life. Be free! Do not stop yourself from being the writer you yearned to be even before you were born."  

During the daily writing workshops when we focus on our characters, stories and the fiction writing process, the Medial Woman might just give you some great new images, characters, and storylines!
