The Structure of the Retreat
We meet for a three hour workshop in the morning, then break for lunch around 12:30. (For more detail, see "Our Journey."
We have three hours free in the afternoons—for alone time, soaking in the hot tub, or exploring the wonders of Acadia National Park as a group or on your own.
Our shore front is a two minute walk from the house, and there are several lovely trails accessible from Rising Sun Cottage. Eagles often fly overhead!
On some days we come back for another session around four in the afternoon. On other days, we have the whole afternoon off.
In the evenings we close our day together with open readings and other activities.
Our meals are cooked by my private chef, and we have all our meals at the house, except for two dinners and two lunches, which we eat out in Bar Harbor restaurants I love!
